They need to listen to regular folks too.  If not, regular folks, which
there are a hell of a lot more of, will use something else.  You cares about
how many friggin' lines a post has?  It makes no damn since.

Programmers do need to weigh the benefits and disadvantages of doing
something, but the size option for newsgroup posts is a damn great idea.
Not every speaks code.  I sure as hell don't, but I and many others have
ideas which those that speak "geek" oughta listen to.
