Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this behavior:

I have a multiboot computer with Red Hat 7.2 and NT 4
loaded. I am running mozilla-0.9.9-1.i386.rpm under Red Hat
and mozilla-win32-0.9.9-installer.exe under NT 4.

On both O.S.'s I have Mozilla's mail set to leave messages
on the server. Under NT, it works perfectly. Under Linux,
every time I restart Mozilla Mail and enter my password,
Mozilla download duplicate copies of everything on my mail
server -- all 83 of them. (I have to delete all 83 of
them.)

I have also noticed that news on Linux does something similar.
I keep getting duplicate copies of all the branches. NT works
fine.

    Yikes!

In case anyone is interested, Linux gives the impression
of being a good 50 to 60% faster than NT; and XP (one of the
other boots), give the impression of being 30 to 40% slower
than NT. Totally unscientific tests thought.
