Hi, First of all I would like too say that you do great job.
I have the following question, it is not a bug (I think). In old Netscape and in Mozilla too query to LDAP server goes with searchscope = subtree which is ok, and with dereferencing aliases set to never - WHY? Why don't depend on default settings of LDAP server. I noticed that IE goes the same way. Is something dangerous in derefenrecing aliases by server, that everybody does it like this? With this feature when I have ou=people and alias ou=staff that point to ou=people I cannot specify root in addressbook to "staff" because it find no entries then? This is trival example but some nontrival real life examples exists too. Yours gracefully. -- Norbert Pabiś
