I skimmed through your source, the selection-code looks sortof similar to what I had before I gave up. Are you sure you get the exceptions at insertText? When I was trying it (for some reason) felt more as if it was problems with the Range implementation. I hope I'll have time to have a more thorough look at it this weekend. /tobias
