On the download page you should click on install instead of download and it will download and install automatically for you. From there - using it is almost exactly the same as using the spell checker in Netscape 6.

I am sure you folks mean very well. This whole thread has taught me
very little. Yes, I downloaded the .xpi file to the Downloads folder on
my drive. I expanded the .xpi file with Aladdin Expander. It expanded
the file into the Downloads folder. Now, in this folder, is a folder
called Win32spellchecker20020302, alongside the original .xpi file. Ok,
the spellchecker has been expanded onto my drive. Now what am I
supposed to do with it? How is Moz supposed to use it? The FAQ, help,
and responses to this thread have so far been *very unhelpful*.
