i believe PLAIN and LOGIN are supported. CRAM-MD5 is filed as an RFE and looks like it's on the way, but won't make 1.0: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41594 (although that appears to be for IMAP, but if it got implemented in IMAP, i'm sure SMTP would also be implemented at the same time or shortly afterwards...) -- michael
