I have been using mozilla for my mail for about an year now. I never had a problem. Until Just before 0.9.9 release. Just before 0.9.9 release i donwloaded a mozilla build and tried to use it for mail. Mozilla said " Connection to server <servername> rejected" or something to this effect. I didn't have time to look at it and still kept using the older version. I tried 0.9.9 and same problem. I donwloaded the nightly build from April 03. Same problem. The working build i have and use actively for mail is 20020217xx. So i decided to clean out the preferences and restart from scratch and setup my mail account. I did the setup now with the nightly build from April 4. the setup went smoothly but when it came to logging in , same problem. Now i kept the mail account setup intact, and started the older version that has been working all the time. It "WORKS". I have tried many more things. But with same results Basically the older build works no matter what i do but the newer builds say couldn't connect to server. The server is the same.
Anybody know why?? Srikanth
