WFM, it uses 100% CPU, but the last 20% is niced and other applications run normally. I am not exactly clear on what you want Moz to do. It is doing something CPU intensive, if it only used 10% of the CPU than the search would take 10x as long... It does hang Mozilla itself though which is bad, but it doesn't seem like a major issue.
