I saw some incompatibilities between Unix mbox and mozilla 
implementation, so I doubt it:
Mozilla uses  "X-Mozilla-Status" and "X-Mozilla-Status2" flags while 
mbox uses "Status" flag.

How about the account settings, mail servers, user names and passwords?
