A) I don't see any garbled text when viewing your example. Could you be more specific? How is it garbled? B) You don't need to adjust any settings to view your mail; if Mozilla displays your messages incorrectly, that is a bug which should be fixed. C) Mozilla doesn't have a preview pane.
