Why do I concern bug#143882 & #139362 ? In Taiwan, people enjoy to share articles via email. Taiwanese likes to forward useful message to family and friends. Of course I am one of them.
I use MozillaMail more than Browser. Before I used Netscape 4.7x as my email client program. I enjoyed Netscape Messanger. Now I use MozillaMail. But I did not enjoy it. Because forwarding function has lots of bug. I was used to forward message as attachment with Netscape 4.7x. But now MozillaMail can not. Why ? Because bug#143882. I asked for help in newsgroup and would like to know whose problem this is. Mozilla or AntiVirus program ? Finally I get the root cause (spenet lots of time). That's the problem of Mozilla. Mozilla mail header does not follow RFC822. It's easy to fix. But it still exists in RC3 and I don't know if it will be fixed in the future...:-Q Well, "forward as attachment" doesn't work for me. I choose the alternative way, "forward as inline"...but it still has big problem. That is bug#139362. Now bug#139362 has a patch. But it's not a perfect fix. Using this patch and forward as inline, you will see that, 1. while entering email address, smart searching in addressbook fails. 2. while sending mail, the window of MozillaMail/composing is broken and super slow... Please please please...please pay more attention to MozillaMail... Also Mozilla AddressBook...There are lots of bugs related with mail client even 1.0 will be closed soon. Thank.
