it only seems to do it in newsgroups for me, not for e-mail. I use a simple signature, i let Mozilla add the "-- " to it, but in e-mail discussions signutures always seem to stack up in back'n'forth mailing. It might be that the received signature is malformed, and therefore is is not stripped, and mine isn't stripped either because of info following it?
