I mean, it is supposed to show me the older postings, right? Why would you want to wade through hundreds of old postings? Just get the most recent 500 and then only new ones from then on. If you want to know, I am unable to get old messages. I think this is because when I began subscribing to a newsgroup, I choose "download 300 headers and mark the rest as read." -James
