Win2k New Mail bug?

The new mail card pops up from the bar with a link to, say, 1 New
Message.  If I click the link, it opens the Inbox window, but doesn't
retrieve the message.  So, I click the envelope-with-green-arrow icon,
and nothing happens (or it goes to the Inbox folder if another one is
open).  In all cases, I have to click the Get Msgs button at the top.
