thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work.the same exact problem exists. i'm thinking about re-downloading mozilla and seeing if that solves the problem. do you know if when i install a new version if it will recognize the email messages that already exist in the old version or allow me to import from another copy of mozilla installed on my machine?
