I have windows and linux on my computer. I have Mozilla 1.0 running on
windows and 0.9.8 running on linux. I would like to have all of my
email in one place and be able to access it with whichever operating
system I am running. I did some web searches and found some clues on
how to do this.

Since linux can read fat32 and windows cant read reiserFS, my inbox file
will have to reside in the windows file system.

I did a file search and found the inbox file that Mozilla created in my
linux system hidden deep down in the /home directory. I renamed the
linux inbox and then created a symbolic link to the windows inbox file.
  The command was

ln -s /win_c/windows/Application\
Data/Mozilla/Profiles/name/tqpdrewg.slt/Mail/pop.charter.net/inbox

This did create a link that I could see with Konqueror, and it looked
like the Mozilla file that I had replaced.

However, Mozilla created a new inbox file when I started it. So my link
isnt working.

If someone can tell me what I am doing wrong, or if I am wasting my
time, Id appreciate it.

Howard
