I just took a look there. Unfortunately it provides
almost no information about "Spamslayer". Before
downloading it I would want to know if it allows
you to construct more powerful email filters than Mozilla
does, but the web page has absolutely nothing to say
about SpamSlayer's capabilities.

I bookmarked SpamSlayer for now and I'll take another look
sometime in the future to see if its developers have had
a chance to work on documentation. I've done just enough
programming to know how hard it can be to find time for
that ;)

What I am looking for at the moment is the ability to
filter messages containing any two (or more) digit sequence
*before* the "@" sign in the sender's address.

Currently this is impossible with Mozilla - you can filter
based on the entire sender's address, but if you don't want
your filter to look at the domain part of the address you are
screwed.

And in my case it also seems to mean I would have to
write 100 filters - one for each of the possible two digit
combinations from "00" to "99".

Oh, well. Time to go looking in Bugzilla to look for
a bug about adding regular expression capabilities to
mail filters.
