On 01 Aug 2002, it is alleged that Mr Jones sauntered in to
netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news and loudly proclaimed:

Er, I don'know 'bout Jay, but I currently have six accounts set up in Moz
Mail/News.
There seems to be a bit of a regression on the trunk: at one point, biff
would alert you to messages in all accounts, but it seems to've gone back to
an earlier behaviour, where it just notifies you of mail in a single account
(the last one to receive mail as it checks thro' accounts) and you have to
mouse over it in the systray to get all the info.
Likewise, the account being popped-up in the notification is indicated in
the account pane in mail/news, but /not/ any other accounts. Since I will
at times collapse the trees for some accounts (not to mention that I often
have 'unread' mail in various accounts) this can prove to be a PITA if I
happen to hit one of those days where I'm getting a lot of scattered e-mail.
/b.
