netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news and loudly proclaimed:

You can, of course, edit the HTML to specify a font, tho' God only knows why
you'd want to do that. I would much rather /not/ make assumptions about
what fonts may or may not be installed on someone else's box. Much more
sensible to let the recipient decide what font and size is preferable to
her/him.
