Mozilla Mail has introduced many interesting features since Netscape 4,
however, it is still lacking some basic functionality which prevents me
from giving it top ratings. Here are the features which I believe any
serious mail client should offer (and which Mozilla lacks):

- A 'bounce' or 'redirect message' option (present in Pine, Pegasus Mail...)
- An option to temporarily disable copies to Sent folder
- Similarly, the option to temporarily choose a different Sent folder
- An option to not save actual attachment in Sent folder, but just
information about which attachment was sent (present in Pine)
- The ability to check *all* messages for new mail (for those who use
server-side filtering and therefore have multiple incoming mail folders)
(also present in Pine)

UPDATE: I discovered that this is actually a hidden feature, and is a
real godsend. Hopefully this could be turned on directly in the
Preferences in a future build..

- A second "Next" button that actually goes to the next message, as
opposed to the next *unread* message
- Full headers that expand at the click of a button (instead of going to
the menu and changing setting for all messages)
- The ability to select multiple lines at once using Shift-Page Down
(okay, now I'm getting petty)..

Personally, I think Pine is the ultimate mail client, but it obviously
lacks a GUI which makes it less appealing in some situations (such as
dealing with attachments). Perhaps it is unfair for me to compare
apples and oranges, but if Mozilla Mail adopted more of Pine's advanced
features, it would use it a lot more, and maybe even drop Pine once and
for all.

Just some suggestions..
Sean
