For quite awhile I had been using Mozilla by unzipping the
mozilla-win32-talkback.zip files to d:\Mozilla. Never had much of a
problem. Today I decided to unzip to C:\Program Files\Mozilla instead
and delete the D:\Mozilla directory. When I started Mozilla it refused
to launch mail/news. So, I quit Mozilla and killed it from Task Manager
(since it didn't really quit). I deleted registry.dat and started again.
This let me access mail/news, but it forgot my profile (expected), but
there appears to be no way to get it to recognize that one exists. In
NN$ you just start creating a new profile and point it to an existing
directory and you're set. Not so with Mozilla - if you do that it
doesn't allow you to specify an already existing directory.

This is a PITA.
