Using Mozilla 1.1 (with Orbit 3+1 skin) on WinME machine with PIII-600, 256MB RAM, 4GB free on 10GB HDD.
Is it me or does anyone else notice this? I keep Mozilla mail up and running 24 hours a day (I have a cable modem connection). If the app is minimized and I'm doing work on other stuff for a couple of hours, then I bring up Mozilla Mail from my task bar, it's extremely sluggish for 5 seconds or more. It's even slow when selecting a message to read, but after that it speeds up normally. I assume it has to "refresh" everything back in memory but this is ridiculous. This even happens if it's the only thing running and I leave my machine alone for some time. Probably a no biggie for some of you but it's driving me nuts, almost to the point where I'm going back to Outlook Express. -- Thanks, Jon.
