The problem with archived posts is that frequently people will browse through Google Groups (formerly DejaNews), find an old post, and reply to it, not checking the date. Some people try to avoid this problem by adding X-No-Archive: Yes to their posts, so they won't show up. Some people just don't like having their post floating around for all eternity, and would rather it just be temporary (for various reasons). They use X-No-Archive: Yes too. -- Mozilla 1.0 Guide: http://www.mozilla.org/start/1.0/guide/ Mozilla 1.0 FAQ: http://www.mozilla.org/start/1.0/faq/ End-user discussion and peer support: snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.general snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.win32 snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.mac snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.unix
