Hello newsgroup members,
I have to admit I am not a Netscape user!! but I know a lady who is a
devoted user who is having a problem and I am hoping one of you members can
solve this for her.
She is using Netscape Communicator 4.6. She likes to send her e-mails out in
HTML format and uses bold text, italics etc. Until recently she had no
problems but a friend used her PC a few times and now she has a couple of
problems.
When she opens an incoming e-mail, it is not displayed as a page of text but
as an icon. Alongside the icon is the word encoded. The icon can be clicked
and the text of the e-mail opens. Another problem is that some incoming
e-mails do not wrap. Some of them can be made to wrap but most others refuse
to let her wrap the lines. Since she likes to print a lot of her incoming
mail, this poses a big problem!
This stuf sounds to me as though there should be a setting somewhere that
can be changed but she has tried different things with no success. Perhaps
one of you knows enough of the software to tell which setings need to be
altered?
Thanks
Tony
