For some time I have been very unhappy with the quoting feature of Mozilla 1.1. Today, I just got around to reading the specs for the quoting feature, and I feel that a serious error has been made in the interpretation of the specs. When I read a message thread, and use the 'next' button to read additional messages, and then see something I want to respond to, and try to quote the message, I get the FIRST message in the thread (even if I didn't READ IT). Is this the intention? If so, the quoting feature is totally useless for the way newsgroups work.
Am I misinterpreting the specs, or are the programmers, or is the spec. just not what a user really wants? Or am I just weird (maybe you better not answer that last question). -- Ron Hunter [EMAIL PROTECTED]
