On 27 Sep 2002, it is alleged that Armitage Shanks sauntered in to netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news and loudly proclaimed:
> Hi all. > > It's probably something that is already known, and if so, is there a fix > on the way. > > My default e-mail account's inbox has the column names Subject, sender, > date...etc... > > However, the name shown beside the Subject is not the Sender but the > recipient. Why is this? All my other email accounts are fine. This only > effects the inbox of the Default mail account. > > Help appreciated. > > Shanks. Umm . . . up-date to a more recent build? Moz 1.0 RC-2 (on which NS 7.0 PR-1 was based) is months old; both Moz and NS have moved beyond that. There is (or at least was) a bug somewhat like what you were describing, but I thought it was resolved months ago; at any rate, I haven't seen it in months. . . . BTW, this is a Mozilla development NG; you can get to the NS 7.0 groups /via/ <http://ufaq.org/#groups> -- Mozilla end-user questions should be directed to: * snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.general * snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.win32 * snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.mac * snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.mozilla.user.unix Note that you need to have SSL enabled and the port set to 563.
