It's freeware and will allow you to retrieve your Yahoo mail via any POP mail capable mail client: http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/downloads.html As for Hotmail, there are other such utilities. One method I've used in the past, is to download and install FoxMail (a *very* nice free mail client, BTW). But, rather than actually using FoxMail as a mail client, I run just the small executable Hotmail proxy file that's in the FoxMail directory (I forget the file name). In any case, it works just like YahooPops. If you decide to run both, be sure to customize the port option on both of the above apps so that they don't conflict. For example, set one on port 1110 and one on 2110. This works as a good free method for doing what you want. Whatever you do, avoid Web2Pop like the plague. It's shareware, written by an author that can't be bothered to even answer e-mail support questions from registered users. Mark -- e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
