Long time user of Netscape.... used to be that the newer versions
readily picked up the specifics as to where mail folders were stored,
what they were, address book, etc., for a seamless transition to the
newer release. I recall when I decided to try 6.n that I couldn't
find existing mail, and so hung back and continued to retrieve my mail
from an older computer with the 4.n version of Netscape. Now, I am
trying to get everything migrated to a newer computer, including my
existing saved mail folders and contents.

I finally imported the address book but it comes along as a separate
book rather than allowing the import into the 'real' one. This is very
frustrating.

The end user should not have to jump through hoops, gang. Where's your
usability lab on stuff like this?

I'll check back to see if some kind soul posted some instructions on how
to get everything to mesh for me.

p.s., I'll also bet that when I re-read this, all of the nice blank
lines between "paragraphs" are gone. This version 7.n does not seem to
recognize a double ENTER as create/honor a blank line for readability...
Have been noticing when I read my sent mail that the tidy lines and
spaces are gone and all text is smushed together into one giant
paragraph. Not readable at all..... I'm about ready to uninstall
and go back to the easier to use 4.n versions!!!
