We have a W2k network enviroment and have recently migrated from netcape6.2 to 7.0. All netcape profiles are stored on a network resource which is accessible through a virtual drive. Under netscape 6.2 there were no such problems: Several users have reported that the mail prog crashes or freezes --> mouse pointer changes to sandclock and even if the program ist closed the problem stays or the application starts only after the icon is clicked twice. This couldn�t really be correlated with a single occasion. I�ve read about somthing familiar in the release notes (POP email becomes unusable if the profile is stored on network drive)...
It is no option for us to have the profiles locally installed. Is there a workaround?
