I do know that someone on one of the n.m.u.* groups royally horked things by having both installed and wantonly moving DLLs about. Where the MozDev spell-checker is should be fairly evident: there's a subdirectory and, I believe, to DLLs. Then install the NS one. That'd be my best bet, anyway.
