Hi Vincent,

I have the exact same question, only I'd also like to know if we can
bypass the seemingly mandatory 'salted' random directory name it
creates. I have Mozilla on multiple machines, and I used to be able to
keep all my installs synched by running scripts to copy the new &
updated files, but now that the directory is a random string (ending in
.slt), I can't do that predictably anymore. Very frustrating.

I'd like to be able to specify THE directory it's going to be in, and
not be forced to use the salting if I don't want to.

Did you ever get any responses to this post?

Thanks,

Dan
