There are two options here: Tools -> Run filters on selected folder Tools -> MessageFilters: Run Now
If you don't have these, try a newer nightly. I'm running 20021009. sTu. Buba Mc Kraken wrote:
hi guys, i just thought i could finally make the jump from sylpheed to mozilla mail. so i configured my pop3 account with my 500+ mails. mozilla downloaded them all very nicely. then i created nice folders like: mailinglist/xy mailinglist/xyz mailinglist/abc .... then i made nice filters which should move the mails directly in the right folder. i marked all the 500+ mails in my inbox and then the search started... i couldnt find an option like "filter selected mails". i rummanged every single option in my mozilla (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020928) but couldnt find such an option. did i miss something or is there really no such possibility to filter mails AFTER having them already downloaded? sure i could make the filters before downloading the mails but why should i... i really miss that feature. well again, did i miss something or is a feature like that planed in sooner versions? thanks for the enlightenment buba
