autocomplete w/ proxy doesn't work?

I seems that autocomplete doesn't work when using a proxy server?

I guess this is because when I try yellowmap.de and the proxy returns a
webpage with a "500 proxy error" instead of a "404 not found" answer?
Maybe a proxy reconfiguration would fix this? (apache mod_proxy)
