I was wondering if their was a way to use an external download manager
with the Mozilla netlib. Specifically I am working on GoZilla 4.0 and
would like to find some way to integrate with netscape 6 and future
versions of Mozilla. This would most likely involve monitoring all
http and ftp requests, doing or own processing if necessary or handing
them back to the browser. We would like to capture files of specific
mime types, if that fails, we look to the files extension to determine
wether we should download it or not. Many Gozilla user's have asked
for netscape 6 support. Gozilla has a user base of somewhere of around
3-4 million active users.
I haven't found anywhere inthe netlib that allows for this type of
interface. Maybe I missed it, or maybe one could be created.
