nsIHttpNotify is going away. please see
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=217766. i know that this
change will break livehttpheaders and possibly other mozilla add-ons.
it will be necessary for new versions of the code to use
nsIObserverService to listen for HTTP specific observer topics. the bug
has more details. this change is planned for mozilla 1.6.
