Hi,

I finally caught some live traces when Mozilla (I use 20040523)
wouldn't resolve host names (it could be any, for e.g.
www.google.com), Mozilla/Win2k sometimes go through NetBIOS
resolution: 2 WINS servers, failure and Mozilla shows "Host
www.google.com could not be found".

Not sure why as it appears randomly within a session, a little
annoying even if I got used to it:
 - either closing Mozilla,
 - or waiting for a few seconds enables Mozilla to properly re-enable
name resolution through DNS,
 - or starting IE, resolving www.google.com, then going back to
Mozilla, it would resolve properly too.

Before filing a bug report, I wanted to know if Darin or others know
about this behavior (didn't find such bug reports on bugzilla). It
could be a Windows bug issue but I've been repeateadly seeing it with
Mozilla/Firefox, never with IE as far as I can remember.

Maybe there's a priority flag or timer that tell Windows to use DNS
asap ?

I have an Ethereal trace which show Mozilla going through NetBIOS, I
can send it by e-mail (alongside with IP configuration, WINS server
IP@, etc.)
