Virus Problem with Mozilla Mail

I run Windows 98, Norton Antivirus 2004 and Outlook express - Norton will 
capture and delete the email with the virus
when I run the above config with Mozilla - Norton sees the virus and deletes the 
whole folder.

I have not lost any emails because I have run both for testing purposes to 
deploy at my work.

Please let me know if you have a fix.  I cant have the Inbox go away because of 
one infected email.
