sometime back in 1999 I saw a post that planned to replace resource: with the res: protocol
eg res://<root>/<path>
1. did this happen and are following roots valid?
ProgramDir
CurrentDir
TempDir
ComponentsDir
SystemDir
2. and is there a symbolic root for the current package
3. if not what (if any) plans are there for symbolc roots ?
