I've found problems with FTP since the late January update. In
particular, Warpzilla hits 100% CPU and has to be killed when I visit -
of all places - the IBM download site from which warpzilla binaries are
obtained! Still happens with the 20010201 build, didn't happen with the
eary January one. Some other ftp sites seem to work.
I completely removed Warpzilla and reinstalled the 20010201 build into
an empty directory in the hope it was caused by some left-over stuff,
but unfortunately it made no difference.
