Some software has Print functionality which allows setting the margin
widths. An example is EPM (\OS2\APPS\EPM.EXE) -- if you choose Options
-> Layout Details you can specify the margins.
The ability to set margins would be extremely useful when printing a web
page for inclusion in a report. The appendices of a report sometimes
need a notice or disclaimer at the top of each page, or need additional
space in the left margin for the binder. By setting the margins you can
allow for paste-up space before taking the report to the print shop.
And, sometimes you're printing on 8.5x11 paper but cutting it down to a
smaller size.
In fact, one thing we wanted to do here was include several web pages in
a monthly report, but we needed to be able to customize the margins.
Netscape 4.61 can't do this, and I just checked Warpzilla and it can't
either.
Any chance that this "new feature" can be included? EPM's "Layout
Details" is a good model. I'd be ecstatic if you could add this.
