I'm new to using Mozilla on OS/2 (though I've been using it for
months on Linux). I gather from the comments in this group that the
v0.9.1 performance is vastly improved over earlier versions, but it
still seems slow on my system.

My hardware:
    Pentium3/850 with 512MB RAM
    Matrox G400MAX video card
    7200RPM SCSI hard disks

My software:
Warp4 with most current fixpack applied.
    Mozilla, via file "mozilla-i386-pcos2-vacpp-0.9.1.zip"

Now, this box may not be top-of-the-line by contemporary standards,
but it should run software with better performance than what I'm
seeing with Mozilla v0.9.1.

The poor performance seems to be mostly graphical in nature. (I'm OK
with the Mozilla startup time, which seems to be a big deal for a lot
of people.) I tend to use "Open Link in New Window" on the context
menu a lot, so I get a lot of opportunities to see windows drawn on
the screen. Yes, I can see the windows being drawn; they don't just
appear on the screen.

>From the "i386" in the install file name, I gather that the code was
built for a 80386. Is there a version built for the i686?

Are there any sources for tips/tricks to improve performance of
Mozilla on OS/2?

Thank you.
