No doubt it's much much faster, but plenty not fixed yet. This is from

missing a checkbox to make sans serif the preferred font):

Here's how I got there:
1-Deleted all traces of previous version before unzipping the new,
including reboot since last use
2-Opened Mozilla and allowed a fresh migration of one profile
3-Turned off sidebar
4-Went to prefs and applied Modern
5-Closed Mozilla
6-Opened Mozilla (browser only)
7-Opened Mozilla Mail via task menu
8-Selected this newsgroup
9-Selected create new message. New message failed to inherit such basics
as newsgroup, sender, reply-to, etc, so exited new message composition.
10-Selected last message in group to read
11-Selected create new message
12-Went to prefs to fix non-migrated font info
13-Changed first serif font selection to Arial narrow
14-Changed proportional size to 15
15-Hit OK
16-Trap
