I get the same thing. I had never tried to change the scheme until now.
The difference is quite dramatic : with the modern theme, every click
generates about 1 second of completely pegged CPU on the system before
anything happens - as shown in the Warpcenter display. This is occurring
on an Athlon 1200 MHz machine, 256MB RAM, 1600x1200x65536, SDD B39.
In the classic theme, the browser speed is about 2/3 of what
Communicator 4.6 - with the startup time and new window/message creation
time being the two most notable differences. Once the windows are opened
it seems pretty slick though, but I must say that running Warpzilla was
the single justification for upgrading my K6/2 550 to Athlon 1200 so I'd
be disappointed if it was still unusable as it was before ...
