rj, I have no idea why you posted this in any place other than 'advocacy'.
You really should not do that .. these postings are inappropriate for these
other groups. But it would be wrong not to respond to your fud.

For other readers who find their use of the ng disturbed by this posting, I
apologize. I just don't want anyone to believe this stuff could be true.
However, regardless of what may be posted as a response .. I will not
overflow from advocacy and possibly misc, where such posting belong.

This is a newsgroup. Not email. You want privacy, use email. Again ... you
are responding to me. I am responding to you. Move along.

Earlier you indicated that you answered the question months ago. I ask, does
that answer need to be updated? I guess not. The list of software in eCS
certainly gets updated.

Asked and answered before. We don't ship GA. The distributors are currently
shipping GA. eCS users have had updated Previews to use over this period of
time. These previews have included GA versions of DTOC, OS/2 V4.51, Smart
Suite, and other commercial products.

And over that time we have added InJoy Professional Dialer, PPPoE, HOBLink
X/11 Server, and other commercial applications, without increasing the cost
to the user.

The users may have been waiting, but their comments have been very
supportive. They use the preview. They appreciate the additions. And much of
the 'delay' was, in fact, a response to the request from users to add
enhancements to the UI and installation program.

Short story ... our users are very supportive of what has been going on.

I have no partner in crime. I would be careful throwing such implications
around. Your rantings are your right. But if you feel there is something
criminal going on, call the authorities and complain. I would not hesitate to
do this if I felt such action was called for.

As to Kim, he made it clear in mid-June that he was going to Hong Kong. In
fact, he has been working on the Chinese versions of eCS, presenting eCS to
the Hong Kong OS/2 UG on Aug 3. He has been working on our server edition
product.

And he has been responding to email and the electronic forums, as always. All
this is very public. Your implication of anything other than what is apparent
to anyone who frequents these sites is contemptible beyond fud.

I now expect nothing to come from you but lies. You have destroyed any shot
you had at being credible. The biggest question should be, why don't any of
the thousands of people who order eCS raise similar issues?

The answer is because these are not issues. Our users have this information.
And you are simply a lying troll.

Private FTP sites. User and password protected for registered eCS users. If
you were one, such info would be available to you. And they are on the eCS
GA CDs which people are receiving, now.

We are not distributing the fixpack, yet. I expect we will do so this week,
but we are working with IBM to further test the fixpack with eCS. To
understand some of the issues, there is no recognition in the fixpack for
SMP, and eCS exclusive.

Further, what happens to a user of Dialog Enhancer when they install the
fixpack? That is a popular and respect OS/2 app, what happens to those users
when they install the fixpack?

We simply want to do more work on the fixpack because our GA has a refreshed
UI which has similar exposures. In short, we are a vendor who is going to
take care to insure our users are well supported.

While I have watched you and dtj try to make an issue out of this, I have
seen no eCS user comment negatively. And I've watched as Irv Spalten, a
member of the IBM fix team, has spelled out these issues as well.

Just more fud from you.

You are silly. I suppose the comforting thing about the Inet is that you
don't feel as embarrassed as you really should.

You are obsessed with the success of eCS. You need to get over it.
