Sorry, what do you mean by distro? The whole Mozilla pkg or the SkyPilot
pkg?? I'm guessing you mean WarpZilla? In that case, OK - but I was really
hoping for a solution that didn't involve anything like
installation/re-installation...

Well I got MultiZilla operating by following this suggestion. Had to use
WarpZilla to do it! Now while in WarpZilla again I also downloaded the new
theme via the properties notebook, so any new files that WarpZilla is trying
to use were downloaded by WarpZilla. It must be something else.
