On another list somebody was asking about plugins in Mozilla.
That leads me, too, to ask: What makes the difference between
Mozilla recognizing a plugin, and Mozilla *not* recognizing a
plugin ?
Specifically, in my Netscape 'program\plugins' directory I have
'npnulos2.dll'. And when I click on Netscape's "About Plugins"
Help entry, it shows 'npnulos2.dll' as an installed plugin. But
when I copy 'npnulos2.dll' into my Mozilla 'plugins' directory,
and click on Mozilla's "About Plugins" Help entry, Mozilla does
__not__ show 'npnulos2.dll' as an installed plugin. How come ?
