I backed out the code that was breaking XCenter, so this should work
better with it.

There is some sort of text corruption problem on the migration dialog -
we know about it.

I didn't create one big XPT file - this should only affect the first
startup.

I also didn't optimize that startup. I might repost it if I get this
done.
