Mmm, not sure it would hang or not.  Will have to check.   If so, then
it would be a solution for the windows list widgets, but not for
PageMage,
alas (or else PageMage would only display titles for some windows,
namely
those having an entry in the windows list).

The best (only?) solution is to never lock a message queue :-)
