Hi everyone,
I tried 0.9.3 and got a SYS2070 or SYS3175 in APPSHELL.DLL. I looked
around for a few things and saw nothing obvious. No other version of
Mozilla anyhwere, no muiltiple copies of APPSHELL.DLL so I figured, I
would just wait for the next version. I totally removed all traces of it
from my system.
I tried 0.9.4 last night and when I start mozilla using any command line
mozilla or mozilla -profile or one of the components (mail or news), the
splah screen comes up and I get quite a bit of CPU activity and disk
activity for maybe 10 seconds and then everything quiets down and the
splash screen stays there. I can run other programs, but mozilla is
unkillable. I have to reboot to try again. When I do try again, I delete
component.reg each time, but still I get the same behavior. I tried
mozilla > mozilla.out 2>&1
to capture the startup messages, but nothing is in the file. What am I
doing wrong when trying to capture the output to help determine where
the problem lies?
I don't know if the 0.9.3 issue is related to this one, but I thought I
would mention it.
