Since other people were reporting conflicts with xCenter, I closed it
before running Mozilla 0.9.4 (010920 version), subscribed to some
newsgroups, exited and restarted Mozilla.
This time the Newsgroups were still there, so I don't know whether the
problem was with xCenter or whether something was fixed in the latest
nightly version.
